MiG-29

The photograph shows a MiG-29 SM (9.13) from the 101st Fighter Aviation Squadron "Vitezovi" (Knights), escorting a Dassault Falcon 2000 operated by Prince Aviation. This photo was taken during an interception exercise over northeastern Serbia. One of the primary tasks of the "Vitezovi" is air policing—the continuous control and protection of sovereign airspace, 24/7, 365 days a year.

Following its modernization, the MiG-29 has become a true multi-role aircraft, capable of executing a wide range of missions. The Serbian Armed Forces operate 14 of these aircraft: 3 dual-seat UB trainers and 11 SM variants (9.12 and 9.13 versions).
